“I finally used my Sound Oasis Glo to SLEEP mask in an emergency situation. I’d had one cup of tea too many, and couldn’t slow my mind down to go to sleep. I tried all my herbals, and melatonin, but no luck. Fortunately, I’d put my sleep mask in my night stand drawer and while I’d tried it on and felt the tension melt away, I’d never really needed it.
I put it on the lowest light setting and stared up at the blue lights. To my surprise, my thoughts did slow down enough so that I felt sleepy again. I then took off the mask, though it was very comfortable, and then fell right to sleep. This is not normal for me. Usually I will get up and read because I know I’m not going to be able to sleep and laying in bed unable to drop off the sleep is possibly one of the greatest frustrations I ever face(I know, first-world problems).
I’ll keep this mask handy for all of my sleepless nights, though I have to say I bought it for meditation, which it works great for too.”

“I have THE worst insomnia PERIOD. I ordered this mask because I’m a big fan of Sharper Image products plus I was desperate for sleep & was willing to try anything. I was a little apprehensive at first because it looked like a really thick piece of black foam with eye cut outs, but I gave it a whirl figuring I didn’t have anything to lose. It does have a chemical smell to it, but a little febreeze made the smell disappear. Before you start using it, you have to adjust the lights to the brightness you prefer. After you do that, you have to adjust the velcro straps; which are SUPER heavy duty so however you adjust your mask is where it will stay. Once you adjust it to your liking and slip it on, the world around you becomes PITCH black which eliminates any light or other visual distractions. I thought the idea of staring up at a bunch of lights to fall asleep seemed ridiculous until I started reading about the various stages of sleep & how to quiet my mind. Long story short, I’ve had this for about a week, and I have fallen asleep effortlessly every night I’ve worn it! I am grateful that I stumbled upon this gem. It’s actually 10 dollars more in the Sharper image catalog, so if anything happens to it, I know where to find a replacement. I would most definitely recommend this to a friend!

“I bought these to help clear my mind at night to enable a prolonged sleep. I’m not used to wearing masks while I sleep so it takes some getting used to. I use mask with sound therapy and they work well together. I didn’t find the smell of the foam a problem. All foam smells but it wasn’t loud or overpowering as some have indicated. Mask is very soft and comfortable. I would recommend this buy.”
